I’ve always loved having a cosy environment and being home (there’s a reason why my brand is called Homebody Club 😅), but it was only in the past few years that I’ve really focused on creating nervous system soothing, mindful spaces that facilitate a sense of safety and self-care with ease.

and one of my friends sent me this message in response…
I immediately had a bunch of ideas, links and tips and knew that this was going to be more than a message back…this needed to be a guide.
I think we all learnt after lockdowns how important our environments are and how closely linked our mental health can be. I’ve never been the one to study interiors, or read any books in the area, I have intuitively gone with my gut when it comes to space curation and how I want the energy to feel in our home.
I’ve been in some tiny apartment rentals, and this year my husband and I bought home first home. No matter the size or ownership status, you can do so much with your space and it doesn’t need to cost you an arm and a leg with designer furniture.
